Dr. James A. Morone is the John Hazen White Professor of Political Science and Public Policy and director of Brown’s public policy program. He earned his BA from Middlebury College and his Ph.D. from the University of Chicago.

Professor Morone has written over 10 books and more than 150 reviews, articles, and essays on American political history, health care policy, and social issues.
