Dr. Judy DeLoache is the University of Virginia’s Professor of Psychology. She has a long list of publications on cognitive development in newborns and young children. She has served on the executive board of the International Society for the Study of Infancy and as president of the American Psychological Association’s Developmental Division.

Judy is the president-elect of the Cognitive Development Society at the moment. She has given major invited talks at conferences such as the Association for Psychological Science and the Society for Research on Child Development. Professor DeLoache is the recipient of a National Institutes of Health Scientific MERIT Award, and her research is also supported by the National Science Foundation.
