Dr. Cinnamon L. VanPutte has been a biology and human anatomy and physiology instructor for nearly 20 years. She is a full-time faculty member at Southwestern Illinois College and the coordinator for anatomy and physiology courses. Professor
Cinnamon is a member of a number of professional organizations, including the Human Anatomy and Physiology Society (HAPS). Texas A&M University awarded her a Ph.D. in zoology with an emphasis in endocrinology. She worked in Dr. Duncan MacKenzie’s lab, where she was taught the fundamentals of physiology and the value of critical thinking.
Dr. VanPutte’s passion for the field of human anatomy and physiology is exemplified by the critical thinking component of Seeley’s Essentials of Human Anatomy & Physiology; she is committed to continuing this tradition of excellence.
