Dr. Dorothy Seyler holds degrees from Columbia University, and William & Mary. She has taught at the University of Kentucky, Nassau Community College, Ohio State, and Northern Virginia Community College.

Dorothy has co-authored or authored 10 college textbooks. READ, REASON, WRITE, published in 2018 in its 12th edition, has been in the classroom for more than 30 years.

Recently retired from teaching, she continues to write and do some freelance editing. A member of the Cosmos Club of Washington, DC, Dorothy also enjoys golf, traveling and tennis.
