Dr. Jimmy M. Cairo (aka Jim Cairo) is the Professor of Cardiopulmonary Science, Physiology and Anesthesiology and the Dean of the School of Allied Health Professions, at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. He has been teaching for over 35 years and is also the author of Elsevier’s Pilbeam’s Mechanical Ventilation.
