Professor Joel R. Evans, Ph.D., is the RMI Distinguished Professor in the Zarb School of Business at Hofstra University, Long Island, New York; and a pancreatic cancer survivor.

Professor Joel is the author of Surviving Cancer and Embracing Life: My Personal Journey (2018). He is also co-author of Retail Management: A Strategic Approach, 13th edition (2018). This ebook is widely used internationally and is available in English, Russian and Chinese editions. He is also the co-author of Marketing, 12th edition (Textbook Media, 2015, which was one of the first American marketing books to be translated into Russian.)
