Dr. Kerry Atkinson, MBBS, MD, FRCP, DTM&H,  FRACP, specialized in medical oncology and learned how it was possible to use stem cells taken from the bone marrow to cure people with terminal leukemia.

He is an Adjunct Professor in the Stem Cell Laboratories, Queensland University of Technology at the Translational Research Institute, Brisbane (Australia), an Adjunct Professor at the University of Queensland Centre for Clinical Research in Brisbane, (Australia), and a Specialist in Internal Medicine at the Salisbury Medical Centre, Queensland, (Australia).
