Dr. Keryn Chalmers is the Dean at the School of Business, Law and Entrepreneurship, Swinburne University of Technology (Australia). She earned her Ph.D., from the University of Tasmania, Australia.

Keryn specialises in financial accounting and financial reporting, particularly in the areas of accounting standards, accounting policy, and disclosure decisions made by management, as well as the economic implications of regulation. Her writings include articles in prestigious international journals, two research volumes, professional articles, and one of Australia’s most widely used accounting textbooks.

Keryn’s research focuses on the financial and investment consequences of alternative contractual and reporting arrangements, as well as the impact of accounting legislation on organisations’ financing and investment decisions.
