Dr. Nima Rezaei is an Iranian scientist who works at Tehran University of Medical Sciences as a professor of clinical immunology and allergy, Associate Dean of International Affairs in the School of Medicine, and Director of the Global Academic Program (GAP). Nima Rezaei is the brains behind the Universal Scientific Education and Research Network, as well as its creator and current president (USERN).
Rezaei is well-known for his work on the characterisation and treatment of primary immunodeficiencies.

Under the guidance of Professor Asghar Aghamohammadi, he founded the Iranian Primary Immunodeficiency Diseases Registry (IPIDR) in 1999, which won him the best scientific project prize at the 4th Avicenna festival.
